Ciao a tutti! (Hello everyone!)

FIRST – Watch the video below.

Listen to Nancy reading the activity instructions:

NEXT – Write the learning goal on a piece of paper

  • L.G. I can describe things as big or small in Italian.

THEN – choose one of the following activities to complete:

  1. Create a colourful poster that will teach someone about the two describing words ‘GRANDE’ and ‘PICCOLO’. Make sure the pictures are clear and colourful,  and that the reader will be able to know the difference between the two words –  ‘grande’ and ‘piccolo’.
  1. Draw a T chart on a piece of paper. Like the one I have below.

Write ‘GRANDE’ on one side and ‘PICCOLO’ on the other. Cut out pictures from magazines or newspapers of things that are big and small and put them in the right place.

  1. Draw a T chart on a piece of paper like the one above. Go on a house or garden expedition and spot all the ‘grande’ and ‘piccolo’ things. As you spot them draw and label them on your T Chart.

FINALLY – Get someone at home to send me a photo of your work.
