We take mindfulness seriously at MPPS. At a time like this, mindfulness can be a great way to reconnect with yourself, slow your thinking down or simply recognise your thinking patterns as well as calming ourselves.
We use a range of resources to help us to teach and practise mindfulness. Some of these resources can be used at home, such as Smiling Mind and Gonoodle (on their channels named Flow and Empower). Other simple mindfulness exercises like focusing on your breath, what you can hear or recognise how you’re feeling can be so helpful.
We have a new noticeboard dedicated to mindfulness. It is located in the entrance just left of the office. You can check it out but I will also post it on the blog.
Thank you, Alice

We read ABC Mindful Me, which I wanted to ask if you’ve read it? It’s a nice mindfulness book. I read it before bed, when I was feeling tired and it was a nice calm book to read and talk about. I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed it!
Love, Kirtley
