Tuesday 24/08/21 – Mindfulness Activity

Today in mindfulness you are going to focus on some breathing techniques, to help you relax and feel focused.

First,  find a quiet comfortable place to sit down.

Next, slowly take a deep breath while imagining you are smelling a flower.

As you breath out, imagine you are slowly blowing out a candle.

Repeat this 10 times.

Then put your hands on your stomach. As you breath in, imagine you are blowing up a balloon. As you breath out, imagine the balloon is being deflated.

Repeat this 10 times.

Finally, you could set a timer for 5 or 10 minutes, and keep practicing your breathing techniques.
