Tuesday 31/08/21 – Mindfulness

Today in mindfulness you are going to practice bringing out your inner hero!

First, choose one of these superhero’s and stand in the position shown below.

  • The Superman: stand with your feet apart, fists clenched, and arms reached out to the sky, stretching your body as tall as possible.
  • The Wonder Woman: stand tall, with your legs apart, and hands or fists placed on your hips.

Next, stand in this position for 2 minutes and say the phrases:

  • I am brave
  • I am smart
  • I can do it

Then,  swap and try the other position for 2 minutes saying the same phrases.

Finally,  notice how you feel. Which was your favorite superhero position?

You can try it again.

Don’t forget that you can try this before you start your work each day, or when you need to do something challenging.
